One of my most transformational experiences while building healthy habits has been through running. I always thought I didn’t like running. I had tried it a few times while living in New York City but never liked it. However, once I was settled in Paris in 2008, my feet stated running and have not stopped. I have ran many races in and around Paris and has been a fantastic way to explore the city and to learn about my resistance and how to overcome it. My running journey in Paris wouldn’t exist if I hadn’t found the support to keep on going. Running a race knowing that a good friend is just a few steps ahead of you, changes everything. If you enjoy running, Paris is a wonderful place to exercise. If you don’t like running, it is worth keeping an open mind to try it again. If not, there are many other forms of exercise that can make you feel healthy and happy. Is your body craving movement?
