✈️ How can you shift perspective this summer?

Headstand, Body & Mind, Shift perspective, headstand, stress management coach, women, perimenopause, menopause

For me, the answer to this question is being upside down.

There is a group of yoga poses called inversions, where the head is below the heart and hips, and the body is inverted from its natural upright position.

The landscape from this perspective looks different.

I enjoy that feeling.

Inversions are not for everyone, especially headstand, but there are some reflexions applicable to our daily life.

🙋🏻‍♀️ When you are feeling stuck in a project or situation:

👣 Can you step away and get some distance?

⛵️ Can you create space to think and process. Are your own thoughts and emotions getting in the way?

📐 Can you shift perspective so that you can see the same situation from a different angle?

🏃🏼‍♀️ Is there time for a 1-minute stretch to release tension in your body?

👀 Is your attention where you want it to be? If not, can you bring it there reminding yourself that there is always more than one choice available.

🫁 Can you pay attention to your posture and your breath. Is your back straight? Are your shoulders and jaw relaxed?

✍️ Perhaps this allows you to return to the task at hand with a fresh outlook 😉

What helps you to shift perspective when you are feeling stuck?
