1164 Mornings
Once upon a time, 1164 mornings ago, I made an important choice.
I decided to upgrade my morning routine, to meditate and journal right away.
There was no clear structure to follow.
The only thing I had clear is that I was ready for change to begin.
I was aware my mornings could be better, more organized, more focused, and calmer.
I held my pen, opened my journal, and looked at the page as if I was writing myself a kind letter for the day.
It helped me to organize my thoughts, process emotions, get in touch with what matters the most.
The simple practice made me feel better right away.
Since that day, I’ve held on to courage to dedicate some time to myself.
Despite the inner resistance, I have reminded myself, to keep going at my own pace.
My morning practice has been growing, changing, transforming.
It has not been perfect, life gets on the way, there have been obstacles, yet I’ve learned to lead the way.
Day after day, month after month, year after year.
A simple practice that makes me feel present and calm, despite the ups and downs in life.
This morning I celebrated 1161 morning since that day, when I chose change.
I thought about that, standing right in front of this tree, that captures the feeling that I want to share with you today.
Which is one important choice that you are making right now?
