Spring is around the corner
Today there is a transportation strike going on in Paris.
Some metro lines are not working, and others are partially working.
A change like this, transforms the flow of the city.
Last minute change of plans, re-organization of agendas and a quick adaptation to current circumstances are necessary to move forward.
Since my early meeting was rescheduled, I went to the park for a fast walk.
As usual, the moment that I walked in the park, my perspective shifted.
The sky was grey, yet there was a small opening in between the clouds, where light was coming in, reminding us of possibilities that we might not have seen before.
The air was cool but not as cold as the week before, reminding us that warmer weather will approach.
There were many more flowers than two days ago reminding us that nature is powerful and strong.
This time of the year is filled with surprises: winter is still here, yet transformation and colors can help us change the way that we respond.
There might be unexpected challenges, there might be moments of overwhelm or reactivity, yet we can allow the air to be filled with curiosity.
We can allow the body to move freely, the mind to focus on sounds and colors and recharge batteries for the next moment that is approaching.
Today, we can hold on to the thought that Spring is just around the corner and acknowledge this moment right now, with flowers, sky and moving clouds. This will help the mind feel relaxed.
Have you seen any flowers on your path today?
