Look for those moments
As I mentioned last week, we are all in this together.
We are all trying to make sense of the world we are living in.
We are all processing many emotions on daily basis.
We are all looking for ways to stay connected and support one another.
Remember to keep searching carefully for those moments of your day when you feel you can relax, at least for a moment.
Search for those moments when you can feel your body softening a little and when your mind can take a brief pause, a moment to rest from all the information from the outside.
Many agree that this is not an easy time to meditate but they find that meditating with group support is helpful.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I have had during the past 3 weeks to lead 24 live virtual meditation sessions. Thank you to everyone who has participated. I am so honored and deeply moved by our practice together.
Our community has been growing like this little lemon plant. Three weeks ago, my daughter decided to germinate some lemon seeds, we have watched them grow. One has taken the lead. Every day we look at this little plant grow. It brings us collective joy.
As Jon Kabat-Zinn says: "The little things? The little moments?" They aren't little..."
Keep looking for those moment, catch them and keep them close. They are precious.
