β΅οΈ Are you ready for change?
Change can feel intimidating, even a little scary.
We often resist modifying our habits and trying new things because it requires us to move through discomfort.
I've been there.
π§ββοΈππΌββοΈππ In the past, I felt resistant to try yoga, meditation, running, daily journaling or waking up early to watch sunrises.
I actually ran away from the yoga studio the first time I was going to try a yoga class because it felt intimidating. (This was many years ago. )
π§ But stepping out of my comfort zone and building these habits has enriched my life and has helped me:
- better manage stress
- find ease in my body
- better organize my thoughts
- feel more connected to nature than ever before in my life
Opportunities for change often arise during important life transitions or during certain moments that propel us to seek solutions and tools to make life feel more manageable.
This has been my experience.
I believe that the beginning of a new decade, a new year, a new month are excellent opportunities to explore fresh approaches to old challenges.
π― Today marks the start of July, offering us an entry point for change.
π£ It's an opportunity to take tiny steps in a new direction.
π I celebrate showing up here, today, on July 1st to share my voice and thoughts, even in a small way. It's a new habit that I'm eager to build and make consistent.
