Meet Tania

Tania Del Rio Albrechtsen is an author and sought-after wellness and mindfulness mentor for executives and professionals living in Paris and has been leading wellness workshops and health coaching programs since 2012. 

She specializes in showing high-performing professionals how to ensure their assignment abroad succeeds by showing them how to rewire themselves (and their habits) to thrive in a multicultural environment. 

What makes her work and speaking engagements unique is that she artfully blends a unique combination of personal experience, scientific training and a practical and brain-based meets mindfulness approach towards total health and well-being, for those living abroad.

As a trained scientist with a doctoral degree in Biology from New York University (NYU) and bachelors of science degree on Biomedical Research from Mexico City’s National University (UNAM), Tania transitioned from doing research in the field of molecular biology and genetics into a career in wellness in her own journey towards managing anxiety.

With over 25 years of personal experience exploring different healing modalities to improve one’s quality of life, Tania’s mission has become to deepen her knowledge and understanding of body-mind practices such as yoga, meditation and relaxation and strategies that improve physical, mental and social well-being.

As a health coach and wellness consultant, she has a key personal and professional understanding of the impact that every day life-style choices have on our ability to keep up our mental performance, on the effects of chronic stress on the body and the importance of learning how to manage stress successfully.

As the creator of The Happy, Healthy & Zen Method, she now specializes in helping executives and their families to go from feeling overwhelmed and depleted by cultural changes into approaching challenges in Paris in a way that feels doable and meaningful and specific to their own needs at the office and as a family.

When you choose to work with Tania, you get a mixture of expertise: a multicultural wellness mentor expert in body-mind practices who knows how to prioritize work-life balance and who shows up to her work with joy, kindness and inspiration.

Although Tania have been working with many different groups of people (students, families, professionals and executives living in Paris), she is currently focusing on supporting professional to feel present and calm in Paris. Tania finds that her knowledge in body-mind practices and stress management tools are a good fit for executives with demanding jobs.

Tania’s clients work long hours, need to sustain deep levels of concentration throughout the day and their every day life requires that they are fully present, engaged and focused. Her unique approach is a good addition to their busy lives in supporting them to keep a clear mind, strong body and thriving relationships in the midst of their busy daily lives. For many of them this involves adapting to a new culture, new language, new diet and making sure that their families are supported through the transition as well.
